Vintage always takes us back, to eras that we may not have lived in, but have loved in timeless films and movies and photographs.

This red & black polka dot peplum top dress reminds of the 1940s, of a femme fatale sort with black gloves, black pillbox hat, kitten sling backs and a cigarette (with a long, slim cigarette holder – a must!) and hair waves that say everything.

This beauty has a deep V neckline (but you can either pin it with a brooch or wear a simple black tank inside) and 2 cute black buttons. The slightly ruched shoulders give it an illusion of power sans shoulder pads.
