Hanabi | Vintage 1950s 1960s Confetti geometric shape print Turquoise blue Japanese Yukata Kimono

We brought this back from our travels and because we only pick pieces we would love to wear ourselves, you can only imagine how hard it is to let this go 😀

The brilliant turquoise blue and the yellow/vermillion bursts of colour reminds us of fireworks on a bright summer night. It made us think of our first ever trip to Japan when we were in school, sitting by the mountainside and just laying on the grass, looking up at the sky with the fireworks feeling so near, like you could almost touch the sparks which rained down the hillside.

The prints on these are traditional yet adorable – reminds us of summer yet so easily paired with modern garments like jeans or a pencil skirt and sneakers.

And so thoughtfully lined with Japanese (possibly) silk sakura-print fabric that’s cooling to the touch.

Has some knotted ties on the insides so you could probably give it some shape if you wish. Or just add a modern obi belt (maybe even a rocker-chick one) to jazz it all up!

Could fits a S loosely all the way up to a L comfortably.
